Transfer ownership of a motor vehicle in Florida with a legally recognized bill of sale.

Florida uses HSMV Form 82050 (Bill of Sale / Certification of Title) for motor vehicle transfers. The official form is available from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV).

This wizard generates a supplemental bill of sale for your records. The actual title transfer must be completed at a Florida DMV/Tax Collector office.

Both seller and buyer should sign. Notarization is not required by statute for the bill of sale, but the title transfer requires notarization.
