Security Deposit Demand Letter
Fla. Stat. § 83.49(3)Demand return of a security deposit wrongfully withheld by a Florida landlord.
Florida § 83.49(3) requires a landlord to return the deposit within 15 days after the lease ends, OR send written notice within 30 days stating intent to claim against the deposit.
If the landlord fails to send the 30-day notice, they forfeit all claims on the deposit and must return it in full.
