Satisfaction of Judgment

Fla. Stat. § 55.141

Certify that a Florida court judgment has been paid in full and release the lien.

When a judgment is paid in full, the creditor must file a Satisfaction of Judgment with the court within 60 days of payment (§ 55.141). Failure allows the debtor to obtain a court order and collect attorneys fees from the creditor.

Must be notarized and filed with the clerk where the judgment was entered.
